The research proposal Contemporary Challenges through Mini-Stories: Documentation, Memories, and Pedagogical Narratives aims to support teachers in the continuous construction of records of pedagogical practices in Early Childhood Education (EI) and in the Early Years (AI). The mini-stories bear marks of different actions performatized by images and narrated stories, supporting current relationships and challenges to think with the participants, materializing ways of acting in the world for the self-understanding of children in co-authorship with teachers. This is an action-training research with teachers from four schools in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre/RS, which fundamentally seeks answers to the following questions: How to work pedagogically to build records in basic education if, at the same time, there is a devaluation of pedagogical documentation experiences in everyday school life? What principles underpin research on mini-stories and how can they transform reality? It is intended to establish a cooperative research network to explore such experiences in relation to pedagogical practice, through the advice and training of school teachers, engaging teachers in discussions about pedagogical documentation, systematization of records, methodologies and educational evaluation, with the common objective of building a framework for the cultural production of mini-stories. This research work requires the adoption of different positions in the field of human and social formation from childhood and new sensitivities during the pedagogical processes, proposed here by constructing mini-stories and records to broaden the range of knowledge, themes, rhythms and human senses, bringing formative and educational impacts of constituting childhood as citizenship.

The advance of digitalization has profoundly transformed cultural and social dynamics, especially in urban contexts, configuring social media as privileged spaces for cultural exchange, construction of collective memories, and representation of local cultures. This research project aims to investigate how cultural dynamics on digital platforms, especially social media, promote cultural exchange, the construction of collective memory in urban contexts, and the representation of local cultures in diverse geographical and virtual spaces. As specific objectives, it proposes: to analyze the cultural practices and expressions of urban groups in digital environments, identifying how they contribute to cultural exchange and preservation; to examine the interactions and coexistence between individuals and groups in virtual spaces and how they influence the construction of collective identities and memories; to evaluate the impact of digital platforms on the representation of local cultures and on the strengthening of cultural identities in hybrid contexts (physical and virtual); and identifying challenges and opportunities in preservation and resignification of cultural memory in digital environments. To achieve the proposed objectives, a qualitative approach based on netnography will be adopted (Kozinets, 2014), a method that allows the immersion and analysis of cultural practices in virtual spaces. Data collection will be carried out in different digital spaces, focusing on urban groups that promote relevant cultural narratives. The data will be analyzed using the content analysis technique (Bardin, 2016), making it possible to identify patterns, themes, and categories related to cultural practices and memories shared in these spaces. The study is expected to contribute to the interdisciplinary field of social and technological sciences, expanding understanding of cyberculture, memory, and culture in digital environments. In addition, it seeks to provide guidelines for the valuation and preservation of cultural memories in an increasingly digitized world, strengthening preservation policies and promoting discussions about the relevance of digital technologies in the formation of urban cultural identities.

As a university museum, with museography aimed at describing schools and Lassalist education over time, the La Salle Historical Museum (MAHLS) promotes the study, conservation, and socialization of its collections, the enjoyment of cultural heritage by various audiences and its study, both by researchers from La Salle University and by those outside it. With the general objective of carrying out educational actions appropriate to the mission and vocation of MAHLS, in dialogue with: the mission of La Salle University, the Museum's Museological Plan for the quadrennium 2017-2020, Institutional Development Plan and Extension Policies and Programs. To better achieve museological purposes, the project “Educational actions of the La Salle Historical Museum (MAHLS)” is presented. Specifically, it is intended to: (1) enable the didactic transposition of knowledge produced in MAHLS to communities and groups in the spaces where La Salle University operates; (2) promote citizenship, inclusion, and human rights; and (3) encourage partnerships with national and international institutions and entities. Theoretically, we work on the extension, understanding it as a way of carrying out actions that are fundamental to the museum's sociopolitical commitments, focusing on communication and education. To this end, in addition to what is basic, that is, preserving and making available collections, relational issues are taken into account, since the museum affects and is affected by the social sphere. Methodologically, educational actions that result from internal and external demands are organized taking into account temporal and quantitative goals. The evaluation of the project will be carried out using strategic dimensions and indicators focused on the academic universe and on the University's relations with the community. Keywords: MAHLS.

The project Ethnolandscapes, Ethnological Heritage, and Memory Games: Ethnographies in Metropolitan Contexts is linked to the research line Memory, Culture, and Identity of the Program in Social Memory and Cultural Assets at La Salle University, Canoas/RS. Its general objective is to investigate the phenomenon of memory in the light of the city's ethnological heritage, through the study of biographical narratives and trajectories of inhabitants of the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre/Vale dos Sinos, in their relationship with urban landscapes and territories, which may encompass other locations. Both the research locus and the research universe are not absolute here, on the contrary, they are open to the research objects of the advisors/co-orientees, as well as of the institutional research partners, when appropriate. The narratives will be recorded and organized in the form of text, sound and image to compose a collection of ethnographic collections. The collection should support the creation of a multimedia database on the phenomenon of memory and ethnological heritage, integrating with other research results from teachers and students linked to the project. From a theoretical-methodological point of view, the project is affiliated with the ethnography of duration, through which the categories city, landscape, memory, ethnological heritage and territorialities are analyzed from a space-time perspective, bringing together other explanative-interpretative categories such as: identity, ethnic-racial relations, urban itineraries, trajectories, urban occupation, etc. The establishment of the database and public sharing through a digital research repository will take place through a partnership with the Bank of Images and Visual Effects BIEV from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, where the proposer acts as an associate researcher.

In Canoas/RS, 92.3% of the recyclable waste mistakenly ends up in the landfill and ends up being underused. One of the possible causes is the population's lack of environmental education. Thus, a gap that can be investigated is identified when analyzed based on the theoretical basis of cognitive dissonance. Thus, it is proposed that environmental education can promote the spirit/culture of cooperativism through a portal that centralizes information and brings together various actors from different spheres. It will be designed to produce a behavioral change for recycling in citizens/users. The objective is to create a learning space centered on the creation of a portal (Pro-Recycling Hub), serving as a memorial repository for behavioral change in favor of recycling as a tool for social and economic impact for waste pickers' cooperatives. The portal (Hub Pro-Recycling) will serve as a pilot project for the creation of the Social Hub Pro-Recycling Technology, since it will be scalable to other Brazilian municipalities, enabled by tutorials and other environmental education materials in a free hosting service. The originality focuses on the cognitive dissonances of citizens in relation to recycling, supplanting the Achilles' heel of environmental education projects. The project has environmental (reuse of materials that would go to landfill), social (easing of the situation of social vulnerability) and economic (increase of jobs and revenues of cooperatives, savings to the public coffers). Applicability refers to the design and construction of the portal in a simple, intuitive and replicable way. The methodology is based on design science research, with a qualitative phase (awareness of the problem and identification of citizens' cognitive dissonances through ethnomethodology), followed by the phases of suggestions (using behavioral change mechanisms), development, completion of the application and monitoring (Called Fapergs Gaúcho Researcher 09/23. This research project, based on the field of studies in social memory, seeks coordination with the purpose of the La Salle Include University project, contributing to possibilities for building memories. The overall objective is to record the life stories of immigrants served in the La Salle University Include project. Cultural and identity elements of immigrant populations will be analyzed, in the context of adaptation to new cultural practices. The research will result in the construction of a digital audio and text database (transcripts of the interviews) available for consultation by the academic community. A mapping will also be made of the support institutions that contribute to the reception and integration of immigrants into society, as well as to the maintenance of a sense of community, seeking the creation of partnerships. Regarding the methodology, the research is classified as qualitative, using oral history techniques, such as the construction of life stories, with the triangulation of different tools for data collection and analysis. Among the expected results are the creation of a reference documentary collection on the topic; the contribution to the development of interdisciplinary extension projects with undergraduate students, opening up the possibility of linking with the disciplines of Integrative Projects; the recruitment of undergraduate students (especially those from the Degree in History) to carry out voluntary Scientific Initiation linked to the project; the encouragement to produce undergraduate TCCs, master's theses and doctoral theses that dialogue with theme and the sources produced in the research.

This project is part of the PPG on Social Memory and Cultural Assets, in the Memory, Culture and Identity Research Line and aims to analyze the dynamics of the constitution of memories, identities and territories of immigrant women, considering the markers of gender and sexuality. As the main theoretical contribution, the concept of territory derived from the studies of Deleuze and Guattari is used, a concept that contemplates issues related to memory and identity. Studies on immigration and the interlocution with gender and sexuality are also considered. The project involves, based on the collection of primary and secondary data, the mapping of data on assistance centers and support institutions for migrant women in the city of Canoas - RS; the description of the initiatives and public support policies aimed at migrant women in the city of Canoas - RS; the analysis of the profile and motivations of migrant women resident in Canoas; and the verification of how the memories, identities and territories of these migrant women are constituted, considering issues related to gender and sexuality. Finally, the objective is to suggest possibilities for addressing inclusive and supportive actions for migrant women based on research findings. Among the expected results, the aim is to contribute to the possibility of mapping and understanding the support network and the situation of migrant women in the city of Canoas - RS; the establishment of inclusive policies in public and private spheres, based on the analysis of the constitution of territories and identities of migrant women; the generation of opportunities for public policies aimed at the inclusion of migrant women, especially with regard to gender and sexuality and the dialogue with different actors who work with an audience - I target migrant women.

The Lassalist Memory Research Project is motivated by the Lassalist Thematic Research Group of the Graduate Program in Education, as well as the Graduate Program in Social Memory and Cultural Assets of the La Salle University, the La Salle Historical Museum, and the La Salle Brazil-Chile Province. Its main action, BioLaSalle: biographical narratives of Lassalist Brothers, aims at literary and academic production, with the objective of preserving the history and memory of the Brothers who marked the educational trajectory among the Lassalists. The initiative is based on the valuation of individual memories as a way of understanding the historical, social and cultural contexts in which these religious were inserted, highlighting their contributions to the formation of educational communities based on human, ethical and Christian principles. In line with the Lassalist mission — whose pillars are faith, fraternity and zeal, and which defends comprehensive education aimed at social transformation, especially for the most vulnerable — the project seeks to strengthen their institutional identity and the pedagogical legacy left by them. Through oral history and the analysis of historical documents, the narratives are collected and systematized from interviews and records present in the collections of the La Salle Historical Museum (MAHLS) and the La Salle Brazil-Chile Province. The stories, in addition to reconstructing trajectories marked by dedication and commitment to education, are interpreted within a thematic perspective, offering a rich overview of the practices, values and challenges faced over time. The expected results include the expansion of the collection of Lassalist memories available for consultation and pedagogical use, the publication of the narratives in different formats accessible to the public, and the encouragement of new research in the field of Social Memory and Cultural Assets and confessional education. Thus, the BioLaSalle action not only preserves the past, but also inspires the present and projects the future of a transformative education committed to human dignity.

Organizational memory plays a fundamental role in institutional evaluation processes, since it connects the data, information, and knowledge accumulated along the institutional path, important for improving results in future evaluations, constituted as an Achilles' heel of HEIs in the evaluation process. Therefore, the general objective is to analyze how the organizational memory related to the external evaluation processes of the National Higher Education Assessment System (SINAES) at La Salle University is structured based on the study of the three Institutional Development Plans (2010-2025). The methodological approach is qualitative, descriptive of the case study type, analyzing primary (interviews, focus groups) and secondary data (documents, PDIs, evidence, reports, etc.) through content analysis. As a result, the development of a technology is expected to make the documentary collection more accessible, promoting improvements in evaluation and management processes.

The research proposal Pedagogical Documentation through Mini-Stories: scientific-technological laboratories and training workshops seeks to support teachers in the permanent construction of records of the pedagogical practice of Early Childhood Education (EI) and Early Years (AI) in the current scenario. It is about creating strategies for spaces for experimentation and the creation of mini-stories, which combine image/photos and narrative/words, visual symbols and signs of everyday school life, promoting the scientific-technological development of teachers in daily work with critical capacity. The idea is to investigate, based on research-training combined with the praxiological dimension, documentation experiences and to build laboratories and workshops for mini-stories in IE and AI. Based on the perspective of the Reggio Emilia schools, on interdisciplinary and collective work, based on an educational, political, ethical and aesthetic program, we designed joint actions for the development of mini-stories between the Center for Studies on Technologies in Education and a network of researchers (from UnB; UFPel; UNIR; UMA/Mexico) and the teachers of four schools in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre/RS, aimed at training and the production of mini-story books in an audiovisual culture, training workshops. When discussing mini-stories, the construction of a pedagogy of images and the appropriation of meanings produced in interactions with childhood cultures, we awaken the importance of pedagogical records that make visible and constitute stories and formative bonds (between children, teachers, families and schools), for the development of scientific-technological and sociocultural knowledge, with repercussions on the production of shared practices. The proposal also aims to develop the scientific and technological literacy of teachers and students in Basic Education, based on studies coordinated by the proposer. It focuses on a study that promotes interventions in teacher training and for scientific and technological literacy in the digital world, configuring potential for producing scientific impact.

The training of educators is not restricted to the academic space, although it finds in it a fertile field for the constitution of the subject as an educator. This constitution extends throughout the person's entire life. Therefore, when it comes to teacher training, it is necessary to consider the entire itinerary taken by the subject throughout their life as an educator. This includes the training received or the absence of it. This research project starts from the question: how does the conception of education implicit in the initial or continuing education of teachers influence the formation of their identity as an educator? This question unfolds into another: how can a teacher training program be designed that is humanizing and trains educators aware of their identity? The objective is to propose training itineraries for teachers that aim to strengthen the educator's identity from a humanizing perspective. For the development of the project, theoretical references will be studied to help form a consistent basis for designing training itineraries for educators. Throughout the development of the project, the researcher, as a participant in commissions responsible for training in the La Salle Brazil-Chile Province, will use the elements of the research as a reference for the construction of training itineraries for educators of the La Salle Education Network. In addition, throughout the research, articles are expected to be published in qualified journals, preferably A1 and A2, as well as the dissemination of results in impactful events in the area.

This project seeks to explore the memory of industrial labor in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre (RMPA), articulating the fields of social memory, industrial heritage, and worker knowledge. The RMPA, with its rich industrial history and cultural diversity, offers a fertile field for this investigation. The research is justified by the relevance of preserving the region's cultural identity, valuing work and workers, and contributing to the development of public policies and industrial tourism projects. Its general objectives are: To approximate the fields of Social Memory and Industrial Heritage, through the knowledge of labor in the RMPA industries, building the memory of industrial labor, which is divided into: Understanding the relationship of the RMPA industries in regional development; building the knowledge of labor as Intangible Industrial Heritage and Producing an understanding of the memory of industrial work through the knowledge of the worker. This is a mixed approach, which uses Documentary research to collect data on the industrial history of the RMPA, using sources such as RAIS and FIERGS, which will be treated with elements of descriptive statistics to identify patterns and trends and for the qualitative analysis of interviews with workers to interpret their knowledge and experiences, content analysis is used. It is an applied study since it seeks the practical application of research for the preservation of heritage and the valuation of workers, as well as seeking to describe the characteristics of RMPA's industrial work memory. The expected results are the creation of a database on the memory of industrial work at the RMPA, the production of a report containing the results of the research, dissemination of the results at events and publications, and contributing to the construction of public policies on the subject.

This project is part of the field of Mathematics Education, more specifically aimed at investigating methodological trends and teaching challenges in the initial or continuing education of teachers who teach mathematics, including their trainers, at all levels and modalities of teaching and sociocultural teacher learning contexts. In this field, trends are understood to mean the different approaches considered important when applied to the process of teaching and learning mathematics, such as critical mathematics education, ethnomathematics, mathematical modeling, the use of technologies, the relationship between writing and mathematics, problem solving, the history of mathematics, and the use of play. The objective of the study is to identify how these trends are addressed in teacher education and the relationship between memory, culture, and innovation in teacher training courses. The research methodology will be qualitative and will be developed through a multiple case study, seeking to investigate undergraduate courses in mathematics and pedagogy in the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre. During the two years of project development, it will be possible to count on scholarships from the Degree in Mathematics Distance Education course, the Olympic Extension project and Mathematics Club, to guide TCCs, dissertations, and theses related to the project topic in both the PPGMSBC and PPGEDU. It is expected that the study will contribute not only to mapping the development of these trends, but also to qualify teacher training in the area. Approved by the CONSEPE TEACHING, RESEARCH AND EXTENSION COUNCIL - RESOLUTION No. 006/24, DATED MARCH 08, 2024.

Writings of Self and Memories in Silence

The research project focuses on self-writing as a study of memories and silences existing in publications of Brazilian literature and their reflections in future publications. Since the beginning of the first records of texts considered to be genuinely Brazilian literature or with evidence of being so, there are memories and descriptions of moments experienced by people who left their marks and tried to avoid the continuation of their silencing. We will consider written and oral productions as literary text, which we will call oralitura from living libraries, a ritual for writing memoirs of initiates in Afro-religious religions. Based on this finding, we have as a research problem the study of the way in which literary texts submerge silenced memories in self-written ones based on traumatic situations experienced, written and/or resulting from orality and the formation of living libraries. The general objective is to elucidate silenced and/or traumatic memories, as well as overcoming adversities revealed in self-written literary texts and in conversations or textualized testimonials. The methodology to be used concerns bibliographic studies related to the reading of literary texts that bring traumatic memories and their social repercussions, as well as immigrant people welcomed in the city of Esteio-RS. In the same way, the books from Editora Unilasalle's short story series, produced by university academics, will be studied regarding the memorial aspects and silences existing in the narratives. This research is expected to better understand the traumas and difficulties faced by writers, immigrants, and university students. For this study, Halbwachs (2003), Ricceur (2007), Huston (2010), Assmann (2011), Candau (2012), Le Goff (2013), Bernd and Kayser (2017), Harari (2018), Bernd (2018), and others will be considered basic theoretical authors.
